The loss of a limb makes a huge difference not only to the lives of those affected, but also to those of their loved ones. The new life situation raises a lot of questions - occupation, everyday life, leisure and the whole social environment pose new challenges for amputees. Our primary goal in providing prostheses is to help our patients regain their mobility as soon as possible and start on the road to independent living.

Our clients will also have the opportunity to learn how to use high-tech prostheses when they reach the appropriate activity level in the NEAK-supported primary care. In addition to primary care, special high-tech prosthetic systems can be requested through an individual equity procedure.

In our Medical Centre, we help our clients to choose the most suitable prosthesis after a personal consultation with their doctor, orthopaedic technician and physiotherapist, according to their high activity level and individual needs.

LOWER LIMB PROSTHETICS

TUBULAR FEMORAL PROSTHESIS

The stumps are made of lightweight, skin-friendly acrylic resin with carbon fibre reinforcement and silicone gel on request. The statics of the prosthesis at the connection points can be adjusted later on without any grades. A thigh prosthesis constructed from modern Otto Bock modular elements. Replacement of the knee and ankle joint can be selected depending on the stress and activity level (free, locked, wedge, four-axis, pneumatic knee joint).

TUBULAR LIGHTWEIGHT FEMORAL PROSTHESIS

The prosthesis is 40% lighter than the imprint.The case and cover are made of lightweight, leather-friendly acrylic resin reinforced with carbon fibre. The inflatable air cushion inside the bones provides a more efficient fixation and a modern and dynamic design. Suspension can be achieved with an elastic waist belt and the inner case is made of flexible haptic fabric, which can be kept clean and replaced, easy to handle. Knee joint and foot can be selected as required.

TUBULAR PROSTHETIC LEG

Can be made to a custom plaster pattern and dimensions, the inner stumps are made of flexible polyfoam, or silicone liner on request. The case and cover are made of lightweight, skin-friendly acrylic resin reinforced with carbon fibre. In the case of sore muscles or sensitive skin or stumps prone to wounding, an inner silicone stump is recommended. The prosthetic foot and the laminated plastic stump are connected by a modular and adjustable tubular frame. The external cosmetics of the prosthesis are covered with a foam sponge and covered with body-coloured capron stockings.

UPPER LIMB PROSTHETICS

COSMETIC FOREARM REPLACEMENT

The case and cover are made of lightweight, leather-friendly acrylic resin reinforced with carbon fibre. The prosthetic case is suspended above the olecranon. Hand replacement is achieved by means of a passive dactyloscopic glove with a foam filler hand, the fitting of which is facilitated by a tube sock.

MYOELECTRIC FOREARM PROSTHESIS

The forearm is the most suitable device for amputees, it meets complex needs.It can be operated by exercised muscles without straining the muscles. It can be used for a wide range of operations if the wearer learns to take advantage of the possibilities offered by the electrical prosthesis. The prosthesis is controlled by myo-electrodes. The individual approval procedure for the product is handled by our company.

MYOELECTRIC HUMERAL PROSTHESIS

Designed to meet the needs of amputees. It is available in four sizes, combining optimal control functions with the need for cosmetic restoration. The control electronics are housed in a fully enclosed box inside the special aluminium alloy frame of the prosthetic arm.The metal arms that frame the fingers and thumb are connected via bronze bearings and are driven by DC electric motors through a gear train. The prosthesis is controlled by myo-electrodes. The product is individually approved by our company.
